Novel Ninjas provides a guided interactive opportunity for writers ages 12-17 to see their stories through from inspiration to publication over the course of 12 weeks.
The curriculum is an abbreviated and simplified version of our Author's Journey publishing intensive whereby fledgling authors write and publish their first novella or novel.
In-person sessions are held in various public venues including a library, a park, and an eatery, and parents are invited to our end-of-term book release celebration. Online audiochats will be conducted via Facebook Rooms or Google Meet, depending on participant software access.
Ninjas will learn:
- Story structure
- How to give and receive critiques with kindness and clarity
- The value of meeting due dates
